How to Create a Romantic Bedroom – Part II

Use Furniture to be creative  

Newlywed couples have so much hand-me-down furniture that does not go with your new room, making it less stylish. Why don’t you get a more mature setup of room by painting the furniture all with the same color, that way, it will match. You can also try changing the hardware for a new and more consistent shade.  

Few paints and hardware can totally make your furniture appear brand new for next to nothing.   One more way to get imaginative with your furniture is to experiment with its positioning in your home. For example, your bedroom with over-crowded furniture is not quite appealing. Consider throwing that extra dresser to make space for the bed under the windows. You might want to think of putting a long you used to place in the garden and place it at the foot of the bed and put a cloth when you want a feeling of homely. Getting furniture even if the items are from other part of the house, it can totally bring a whole new make-over for your bedroom. Remember, you are limited only by your creativity.  

Make the Bed Your Masterpiece  

Be in the habit of using all those soft linens and clean your linens on a regular basis. Buy and invest a few small pillows to give the bed some character and bring in an emphasis color. Make certain it looks appealing. If you do not have any headboard and only a bed frame, think to consider of making one. Put pieces of art or place framed photos that you have placed in the storage and consider it an option.

Try using an old white-picket fence you have cleaned and have it painted, a padded and slip-covered piece of plywood, or a long pillow hung on a dowel over the bed. One option which will provide you a super romantic appearance is by attaching a covering from the ceiling. This is to create a star of the room and with your bed. As the main point, it should be obvious, be warm and welcoming for you and your partner.   

Lights in Your Life 

Did you know that lights can make a room sexier? By installing dimmers or putting dimmers, different colored shades over lamps can go way far away to assist you to generate a more romantic atmosphere. Candles are another option to change the lights and position the scene for love. Put and hang dark colored drapes for more discretion and keep the sun out when both of you want to laze in your bed.  

Choosing Your Accessories 

By accessorizing wisely, you can maintain that romantic atmosphere. Put fresh flowers on the nightstands. For important dates that needs celebration, you can scatter rose petals on the floor and in your bed. If you have memorabilia like photos, hang it. The most important thing is to put objects in the room that you will both remember your story, the wonderful memories you as a couple have shared and a lot more in the future.
