If your house is located on a cul-de-sac or what they call a blind alley or a dead end and when you believe and understand Feng Shui and you also know that it is not good.  Though, this tends to be a general statement in Feng Shui because each house is unique. There are several basis why even houses with the best Chi or energy flow or even with a Feng Shui design inside may still have trouble pulling towards a good quality of energy when your property is located on a dead-end.

Reasons why cul-de-sac houses needs improving its Feng Shui:

·          A cul-de-sac location produces a constant recycling or bouncing back and forth of  the same energy between several house. The kind of energy on a cul-de-sac is usually restless and chaotic depending on the specific details of the cul-de-sac  and the houses in it.

·          The quantity of energy that is needed for a single house will now be divided in between several houses. But the house on  a cul-de-sac are tussling for more Chi. Here are the solutions:

·          Feng Shui landscaping is usually recommended to draw and maintain a better quality of Chi. For instance, a property with a good backing will always collect and keep more energy than a property without backing at all. Having several tall ever greens at the back of the house can be an easy alternative. This goes in front of the property – by making a curved pathway to the front door plus a combination of lush greens and rocks will draw a much better quality of energy than a straight path with no appeal.

·          Having a water feature outside preferably running is recommended in Feng Shui, This uplifts and refreshes the energy of a cul-de-sac. From a simple birdbath to an elegant fountain, it really depends on the owner what will fit best with your budget and of course your house. Several elements must also be considered when working with water in Feng Shui such as facing the direction of your property and the water flow direction.

·          A garden element can help you, as well by putting a garden sculpture is outstanding  Feng Shui cure to uplift the energy. Work with the Feng Shui elements that are needed depending on the direction where your house is facing. For instance, a moving metal sculpture is best on the West, Northwest and North areas and  must be avoided in the East, Southeast and Southwest Feng Shui directions.

·          The front door of a house in a cul-de-sac needs security and strengthening. You can improve to strengthen your front door with the proper Feng Shui. For instance, if your main door is facing South  you can definitely go for a lively  fuming red color which creates a guarded energy and this creates a lot of  protection between the front door and the street by using helpful landscaping tricks.

Keep in mind that even though I have offered solutions, individual house is unique in itself, so they say that a house is on a cul-de-sac has bad Feng Shui will not be safe or accurate. You need to take into considerations several surrounding elements like how long is the street leading to the cul-de-sac house is situated, also the relationship between the houses on the cul-de-sac have to be checked.

Putting a small round water Feng Shui in the center of your cul-de-sac home will create a much enhanced energy. I believe that your neighbors would agree to create a nice center island with beautiful refreshing feature in your property.

A cul-de-sac house might need more attention to put into but there is no need to worry about a property being bad, as it can always be enhanced.
