Leasing a Studio or a One Bedroom Apartment

Weighing which type of units to rent can be a little difficult and identifying your options has its pro and cons. If you are thinking of leasing a studio type condominium or a one bedroom apartment and live all by your self has their advantage and disadvantage and these choices are common for single people.

Here are a few ways to help you decide which option to choose.

Leasing a Studio Type

When a renter opts to lease a studio type unit, it usually consists of one main room and one bathroom with a kitchen either part of or as on off shoot of the main room. This also means you are paying less each month and more savings year after year and still enjoy your place. Having a very basic floor plan of a studio type room makes it so simple to design and it does not need too many furniture since you are working on a limited space. Studio type is perfect for renters who do not have a lot of things that they need to show or keep handy in the unit or apartment.

Leasing a One-Bedroom Apartment

When you choose to get a one bedroom unit that means you require a much bigger space and several rooms in their apartment. Having a separate room is great when you prefer to have guests come in into your place without worrying that furniture and bed are in sight and may block the people that are coming in. If  guests decide to sleep over, they can rest with enough space for themselves and more privacy. This also works if you are the type of renter who telecommute and enjoys the workday in a different area of the apartment than the one you sleep during the night, for a change of scenery.

Getting an Upgrade

Choosing between leasing a one bedroom unit or a studio type apartment comes down to realizing that a one bedroom apartment is considered an upgrade because this will cost much more and thinking if that upgrade are all worth it to you. Though, a one bedroom apartment gives additional perks in replacement for bigger money to spend but this does not usually apply for every lessee. When you weigh the pros and cons it will be easier for you to choose which is more valuable between lesser expenses or bigger space.

Nevertheless, some lessee who has the funds and can afford to get the one bedroom chooses sometimes to live and get the studio unit. Good thing, you can always check online for several lists of studio and one bedroom in the market and choose which area, views, amenities, accessibility, etc. works for you well.
